“ I stumbled across this restaurant while in town for the night for work. So glad I did! Felt totally comfortable and welcome as a lone diner, asked for a recommendation between two dishes and was not disappointed. I've eaten quite a bit of Indian food and this ranked among the top. Especially the garlic naan hot from the stove. Yum! Great value for the amount of food you receive as well. I easily have enough leftovers for 2 more meals! ”

“ Stopped in to get an early (5pm) vegetarian meal, and got way more. I started with the veggie samosa, which were great. I moved on to the Gobi Makhani (spicy), and was not disappointed. I also ordered the lemon chutney, which was fresh. It was bright and a little sour, and I loved it. I then asked for mango chutney to try and it was smooth and sweet. I was really impressed with the food, and the stories about how they use traditional family recipes. If you like Indian food, and are in Cookeville, you should eat here!
